Summary

Matthew Wetmore is a Senior Software Developer for the Web Services organization under ING U.S. IT which supports many of the external facing web properties. Matt joined ING in 2006 as part of the IT Professional Development Program and has held various roles during the three-year program.

During his four years at ING, Matt has worked in different areas including web application development, application and performance monitoring and infrastructure support. Each of these technical roles has provided him with a thorough understanding of the various components and processes of website development and has helped him excel in his current position.

Matthew Wetmore most recently assisted with the implementation of Drupal, an open source content management system, as the primary web site development platform within ING. As a technical resource, he was responsible for identifying critical infrastructure components, developing site architecture, and planning technical implementations.

Matthew Wetmore holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He is an active member in the Drupal community and participates in local meet-ups and training camps. He also works on the WJMF website which he has continued to support since graduating in 2006.
